Migration•OmniRoute

Migrating from OmniRoute to GoRoute

Switch from OmniRoute's 380MB Node.js gateway to GoRoute's < 5MB binary in seconds with automated SQLite vault decryption and credential import.

Why Migrate to GoRoute?

OmniRoute (Legacy)
• 380 MB - 1.5 GB physical RAM
• 18.4 ms routing latency
• Node 20+ runtime & 800+ npm pkgs
• Port 20128 collisions
GoRoute (Modern)
• 4.7 MB physical RAM (98.8% savings)
• 0.86 ms routing latency (21x faster)
• Single static binary (Zero deps)
• Clean, dedicated port 8128

Migration Options

Method 1: One-Click Web Portal SyncBrowser UI

1. Open the GoRoute Web Portal at http://localhost:8128/.
2. Under the Providers tab, locate the OmniRoute Sync panel.
3. Click Import All Accounts. GoRoute scans your local ~/.omniroute vault, decrypts all Google Antigravity & Kiro credentials, and registers your virtual combos automatically.

Method 2: One-Command CLI SyncTerminal

Run the automated vault synchronizer from your terminal:

goroute sync omniroute

Output: [sync] successfully imported 5 Antigravity accounts, 3 Kiro accounts, 10 combos in 0.18s

Decommissioning OmniRoute

Once your credentials have been imported into GoRoute, stop OmniRoute to release 400MB of RAM:

# Stop OmniRoute daemon
pkill -f omniroute || systemctl --user stop omniroute.service
# Update Claude Code to route through GoRoute port 8128
goroute setup claude
