GoRoute Gateway Overview

GoRoute is an ultra-low-latency, single-binary AI gateway and multi-account router engineered to provide continuous, uninterrupted upstream connectivity for developer coding agents.

0.86 ms Routing

Sub-millisecond dispatch overhead powered by Pure Go and Rust SIMD vectorization.

< 5 MB RAM

Runs continuously 24/7 without the 400MB+ memory drain of Node.js or Python gateways.

Recursive Combos

Instant failover between multiple Google, AWS, and paid API accounts when rate limits hit.

How GoRoute Works

When coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, or autonomous CLI tools run complex tasks, they make dozens of concurrent streaming requests. If an upstream account encounters rate limits (HTTP 429), token exhaustion, or transient 500 errors, ordinary setups crash the agent session.

GoRoute sits transparently on http://127.0.0.1:8128 as a local reverse proxy. It inspects incoming OpenAI or Anthropic calls, translates protocols on the fly, evaluates active account quotas and latency curves, and automatically pivots to backup models in under 1 millisecond.
